Corsair Yacht Club is open to all visitors!

As we have no permanent shoreside-based home, we rely on various venues (such as other yacht clubs, restaurants, etc.) to host our monthly meetings. These are usually located around the San Pedro or Long Beach areas.

Most of our cruises are based out of our beautiful facility at Emerald Bay on Catalina Island located approx. 3 miles west of the Two Harbors area. The mooring field consists of approx. 100 moorings rigged for 25 to 50 foot boats. Mooring availability is on a first-come/first-served basis and governed by the Catalina Mooring Service. There is limited anchoring at Doctor's Cove, and just east of Indian Rock (between Emerald Bay and Howland's Landing). Our facility consists of picnic seating for up to 175 people, restrooms, showers, firepit, BBQ, and a pizza oven. Access to the facility is limited to beach landings in front of Corsair Cove. Reciprocity with other yacht clubs and non-members is limited to our scheduled events (and not accepted on Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Labor Day weekends). However, if you see us up there, please stop by, say hello, and get a tour of the Cove.

Navigation to Corsair Cove: The entrance to Emerald Bay is approx. 33.467N and 118.526W. When arriving, keep Indian Rock to starboard as there is a submerged/unmarked reef running west of Indian Rock. Contact the Emerald Bay Harbormaster on VHF channel 9. Corsair Cove is located at the west end of Emerald Bay; just to the left of the Camp Emerald Bay.

Please consult our Calendar for our various meeting and cruises. If you would like to attend one of our events, please contact our Port Captain to make arrangements.

We look forward to seeing you there!!!
